Can anyone toll me the difference in these two machines? I am looking at the 2 seater and did not realize there are two different 150's. The Raider 150r double and the Raider Max 150 double. On the Dazon website I really like the seats on the Raider Max. I did not realize you could get these seats on the 150. I thought they were the new seats on the 175 Max. Is there really two different 150's?
There was a limited release of a 150 max. They did this to test the cooling system which needed to be completely redesigned after the test. I would steer clear of the 150 max. The new 175 has been redesigned to fix the problems but the keyword here is still "NEW". Every new product is going to have some kinks. Dazon has made dozens of improvements on the 150s which have been out for over two years now. The 2004 model is solid. My 2003 has been going strong with very few problems.
So for now I would go with a 150 and then just upgrade your seat once they are available or throw and after market one in there.
