We have a neighborhood track out here with jumps berms and tabletops. Super fun!
I see allot of questions on here about side by side comparisons with the Twister and the Raider. I have a Twister and my friend has a Dazon Raider so here is my experiences. Both are fun as hell to start with. Niether of us has had many serious problems and we beat the heck out of them.
Now I like my twister but I must say the Dazon is better. First of all he does have the Hop Up Kit which he just got and now I cannot keep up. So much for side by side racing!!! The engines look simular but I don't think the pipe will line up on mine. Everything else should fit but I am waiting for a Twister kit. I bought the twister becasue it had a few goodies that the Dazon did not have like the horn mirror and side pannels. That was my first mistake. This stuff especially the side panels makes my kart heavier then his. That is one step off performance luckily he is fatter . Also I have broken three chains already but he has broken none. The Dazon has a double chain system. Both of my light bulbs have burnt or broken from the rattling, his have not. The tires are a toss up. His are a bit bigger which helps with clearance and the tread does great in the dirt. My tread is very differnet and I think hooks up a little better in the soft stuff. My seat is a bit more padded. His came with fully padded roll bar and mine just has a little. He has a dual metal resevior for his disc brakes. Mine is plastic and looks cheap but they both work fine.
So I hope this helps. I like my Twister and it has performed well (except the chain and lights) but I wish that I had the Dazon Raider.
We are looking two switch out to snowmobile engines for super power once these are used up. I will keep you all posted.
Twisters are notoriuosly unreliable. We are actually a dealer but we are switching to Dazon because of the Twister problems. We got a Dazon to compare with and it is more solid. Too many little parts are just better/tougher on the Dazon carts. Plus they look better.
I'm already smokin' the Hammerheads & Carters because of my performance kit, but once the Wiseco pistons and rings and new sprockets are available, they will look silly running next to my Dazon. After reading all of these posts (I am glad I found this forum!), I am glad that I did not try to save a few bucks to buy a Hammerhead. I don't mean to bash my friends, but I feel sorry for them because of all the problems they are having. One day when we were riding, one of the front fenders from his Hammerhead fell off and flew into his face, causing him to have to get about 8 stitches on his left cheek. The same guy, a few weeks later had his buggy catch on fire while we were riding!! Something in the electric box burnt up and couldn't get parts for almost 3 months!!
Unless you ride in the desert all the time, the fenders and side panels come in real handy. Especially if you are a "bubba" ridin in the mud. I don't think I would want to venture out on the trails in my area without fenders.
As far as stuff falling off, all of these carts vibrate a lot! You just have to check things over every once in a while. This is no different than any other atv I have seen
Ya i think i am getting the dazon because of all the things i hear about it can you tell me where to buy a dazon 150 is? if so please tell because i am only 16 and I need to save as much monkey as possible.
