Just saw a talon in the dunes yesterday or should say on the beach. I pulled up in my Raider and the differnece was obvious. They had paddle tires on the rear and still could not go into the dunes with out getting stuck. I take my Dazon Raider with stock tires (aired way down) out to comp hill no problem. The Carter carts are like little go karts not made for serouis performance but for the kids I guess. The rear suspension had very little travel. I was not impressed and the guy driving it looked frustrated when I told him how much I paid for my Raider (less). We did a side by side drag race and I never looked back. And that is without the performance kit! I can't wait to Hop up. I just need $350 or Christmas to come sooner!

True. Carter Cars are for wht we call in the 4x4 scene mall cruising. Just looks cool but not really made for dirt or sand. Prett fast on the pavment though. We have a 7 year old who likes his carter but the suspensions is more for looks then travel. I have never seen a Raider except pics at www.sandhighway.com so I cannot on them but from what I read here they seem cool. I might get one when it comes time for an upgrade.

My sons Carter Talon is gutless evenin the dirt. I can't imagine trying it in the sand. Anyone beef these up like the Dazns?

The carter 150 and the Dazon raider 150 have the same engine, made by the same company. You're dreaming if you think there's any difference. What is this stream, a Dazon commercial?

Nope not the same I have both. I bought the Carter first and went to get another and my dealer had swithched to the Dazon Carts. I can tell you first hand the Dazon is faster. The frame looks ALOT better too. Have you dona a side by side?

Tell them Dunite! I saw thier lame post. Sounds like they have a forum of thier own and the big green monster is getting to them!

Thanks for making this available it has really helped me out.

p.s. We will up in Pismo on the 12th-14th if you want to do some racing.
