 anyone having a problem with the new white bro pipe melting the top side of the battery case near the neg. side post?

You need to remount the battery up behind the stock battery tray. The pipes were designed for the original batteries which were much smaller. The new batteries are way better but have to be moved for the aftermarket pipe. I just used two big U clamps from the hardware store $10. Then I drilled holes throught the back of the original battery tray just under the frame and bolt that sucker down. You might have to loosed the case on the electrical box to feed more wire out to reach the battery but it's all easy. The pipes and the jets make a huge difference!

This new 2005 doubles have the battery mounted in a new posotion so you don't need to worry about it.

i have an 04 single and dont have a problem with the white bros. pipe and the battery being to close
