I have researched all the buggies, Kasea, Dazon, and all the TJ Powersports take-offs. I have narrowed it down to two, the Dazon 150 and the 175 Max (two-seaters). I am 6'2" @ 225 lbs, and want something with a little get up and go to use for hunting and general playing around. Would the 150 with the performance kit do what I want or should I wait on the 175? (can the performance kit be mounted on the 175?) Has anyone mounted 22" tires front and back? Also has anyone added a larger rack on the back for carrying game? How about a winch? The Carter Talon is about perfect for what I need but everything I've read keeps pointing me to the Dazon. Please help.

Greg,

I am 225 myself and my 150 with the performance kit is a blast. the 175s won't be avaialble for a month or two now. A 150 with a performance kit is faster then a 175 and I don't think the kit will fit the 175. I am sure down the line Dazon will make a kit for it. If you are looking for performance I would get a single seater. The are 100lbs lighter to start with then when you put another rider in the two seater your getting heavy.

The 175 is going to be much more complex to assemble if you have it shipped and we know the 150s are bullet proof. The 150 assemble is fairly easy. Also the 175 is a new system and I would not like to be the test market.

Thanks for the post. I know it is confusing to see the other brands out there which look similar and many people are making the wrong choice. The Dazon Raiders are simply better built especially the 2004 models. There are not many pictures of the 2004 model out there so people are comparing the wrong buggies. The 2004 Dazon has so many upgrades that there is no comparison. Check them out at www.sandhighway.com if you have not already!

Go for the Dazon. Beter quality, better support, better kart period.

The Dazon Raider 150's have been around much longer than the 175's and are a more proven unit.  For a unit that has almost as much HP as the 175 your best bet would be to probably go with the Raider 150.  You can also get a White Brother pipe to increast the HP.
