Anyone have any real-life experience comparing the various China-made karts (e.g. Dazon Raider) with the Carter Bro's 1150 and 2150's?

Thanks,

-Rob

Rob,

We have compared all of the China made Karts to be sold at Sand Highway.

The Kaseas and Dazon Raiders are basically the same being manufactured in the same factory. Components do differ though and the new Dazon Raiders have more updates. Kasea karts were a little more expensive we had concerns about getting parts and service. Also Kasea engines were not California Certified. The new Water-cooled 175 and 250s are going to blow away any other manufacturer.

We also looked at Carter karts which are California certified but end up costing too much in the end. Also they come with 8 in wheels which just don't cut it. The Carter Karts are more like a go cart while the Dazons are just beefier and more durable.

If you have any specific questions abbot the comparisons send an email to amy@sandhighway.com

Has the water cooling issues of the Dazon 175 double been fixed yet?  How much faster is the 250cc going to be and when should that be available?

Yes the system has been totally redesigned. Our first shipment of the 175s is in customs. There are a limited number so contact Ed at www.sandhighway.com today if you want one. The 175s are not available in California yet but will be in a few weeks to a month.

They are sending a few 250s for final testing and they should be available in a month or so. I cannot say how much faster they will be until I get me hands on one! Cant' wait they look sweet.
