      i have a '03 150r and i bought the hop-up kit. The only thing i don't like about the kit is it doesn't come wiht an air breather box. Me and my dealer want to rig something up but i want to Know if some one else has. i'm hoping some one has because it would make it easier. the only reason i want one is because i go mud bogging and i hate getting the filter wet. O and one more thing does any one know of any more aftermarket parts out yet, and check out the other post with my name because i want more info!


 


                                 i can't wait for the 175 seats so i can get them!!

I did rigged an air intake system with some irrigation boxes from the hardware store. I used flexible tubing and attached the two boxes on the sides of my roll-bar. I know there are pics on here somewhere of that. I did it to keep the sand out because we live at the dunes but I guess it would work for your bogging as well. Also I tied the little breather tube that is for the belt drive area into the system. I gave all that up when I got the UNI filter though. It just added a little speed even thought it is not as good at keeping the sand out. But I like the speed too much and I will just swap the engine if it ever gets to bad.


Yes those seats are sweet! The should fit no problem.

i'll guess i'll have to try to rig something up. the hardest thing is tring to find an air box that will fit. could you post some pics up. i'll try to post some of mine up.

I found this pic. The corregated tube is probable not great for air flow but it will keep the mud out. The boxes are irragation boxes from the hardware store....like $4 each. The tubing is vacume or pump tubing.

o i see now. do you know what other parts are out? i emailed dazon about 3 days ago and they still haven't wrote me back. do you know when the seat will be out, and what other new parts come with the newer modles. o and i'll try to get my dad to let me use his digital camera so i can takes some pics.


 


p.s. i'm going to set up a pole check it out!!

try a water-repellent nylon sleeve for your UNI filter.  Works fine for me.  Mine is made by Outerwears and bought it from an ATV dealership.

Three days and no response. Does not say much for Dazon customer service. Maybe it was a fluke, yes?

Depends on who you emailed. Dazon the manufacturer probably won't return emails from individuals. That is what dealers are for. Plus the holidays are upon us and everyone is swamped with orders.


Also we get hundreds of emails each day and thousands of spam which we need to filter our. Sometimes good emails get filtered. Welcome to the WEB.

how much more horse power do you think you get out of the hole hope up kit?

About a 30% increase ifyou have the old carb jets. The 2005 models already have a larger jet but the pipe and filter make a big difference.
