Which Dazon to buy 150r or 175r
Permalink

I am looking for a 2 seater.  Need to decide between the 150 and the Max 175.  I am 6'4 240lbs.  I would be using this for mostly trail riding and some hard packed sand riding.  My brother in-law has a Twister 150 and that thing is slow.  I can out run that thing on foot.  It is a 2 seater also.  Is the Raider Max 150 or 175 any faster than the Twister?  Also is there room for someone my size?  Is the hop up kits available for the 2 seaters in both the 150 and 175's.  I am hoping to purchase soon.  I just need to get rid of my 99 YZ 400F motorcycle.  Anyone interested.  I have pics.  email me at lacofdfireman@yahoo.com  Thanks for any info

lacvofdfireman,

Yes the twisters are very doggy for some reason. The Dazon Raiders are faster and all around a better built machine. The hop up kit makes the biggest difference. The 175s won't be available until sometime is September and not until November for California. The 175 won't be all that much faster and the 150 hop up kit will not fit as far as I know. So the 150 will actually be faster until there is a kit for the 175.

You will fit in the double seater no problem. The single seaters are going to give you much better performance and actually more room. The double adds about 100 lbs of weight and it is the same engine. Then if you ad another passenger you are getting heavy.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Go with the 150. Tried and tested over the last couple of years. The 175 is mostly the same but the water-cooled system is new.
