I bought one and here is my take. It ran ok but lacked power. The dealer support and technical help was nowhere to be found. Nothing really broke but the performance was whimpy. This year we bought a Dazon for our older son. This kart performs much better. After break in it started hauling you know what. We are getting the hop up kit which I saw on another Dazon down at the dunes and that guy was flying.
So the twister is OK but for a few extra bucks I wish we would have gone for the Dazon. The 2004 Dzon has an awsome design and many upgrades or improvements I guess you would call them over last years model. Also our Dazon dealer is educated on the kart and provides excellent support.
If you wanna buy a used twister I will let it go for cheap because my yougest boy is sick of getting dusted by his brother!
Don't buy the Twister. Mine was doggy from the get go. The dealer gave me no help and now we are fighting for a refund. I saw a Dazon Raider yeaterday, that's why I am here researching, and it was WAYYYYYY better. The kid driving it said he loved it. It looks to be a better design in many ways!
