Engine help!

I have a 2004 Dazon 150 Double. I took off the top end with the help of a friend to discover that one of the vavles was stuck open. This explains my loss of power near the end of the day last outting. I thought it was choked up with dirt or a carb problem. There is a lot of cabon on top of the vavle head. I have ordered parts but the vavles will have to be reseated because one was leaking (the struck one). I checked the bike shop where I take my two wheelers and they said $100 to reseat them. Does that seem about right? I don't know if my friend and I are up to the vavle adjustment, cam chain tension and timing. My friend was an auto mechanic. My buggy was been down for almost a year now and I'm at the point where I'm ready to take it to some one with the parts and say: "Put it back together and make it run". Money is an issue and the only place I trust that's some what near is a lawn mower shop in Chino that sells them. The guy is very knowledgeable but he's to busy to get to it any time soon. I wonder if any buggy shop that deals with the GY6 Honda clone like ours can do the job? Any one know of some in the 909 or 626 area code? I did get the service manual on-line but I'm still trying to figure out after a year exactly what areas need to be lubed (besides the grease fittings) and with what. If some one could take close-up pics with a description and post them here or e-mail them to me that would be invaluabe. Any help would be great. Not to plug but there is another great website for just buggies of all kinds: www.buggynews.com/index.php
Thanks!
