I have the dazon 150 double with the white bros pipe and jets,but did not get the air filter it looked like it would get to dirty in the sand.How much of a difference does the air filter make?how much more power?
There is a definite increase in performance. If you keep it well oiled no sand will get in. I actually have had less sand in there with the UNI. My stock filter let some slip by for some reason. I think was crimped.
They also have those socks you can put over it like many sand rails use. Not sure how that will change air flow though.
So I would try it out and monitor it. All sand is different. Some is finer then others but the Pismo Dune sand does OK with the UNI filter for us.
