Hey just wanted to let everyone know about the twister hammerhead. Two thumbs down on those suckers . My buddy Brian bought one thinking it would be fun in the dunes and maybe the occasional hunting trip. WRONG. It was fine for about an hour before the elecrical went haywire. Then the reverse cable broke as we tried to trailer it. He tried getting a refund but the dealer siad no way and offered to fix it. If that happens on the first day then what is next. If he would have found this forum first maybe a Dazon was the way to go. I was planning on getting a twister but luckily I did not hav enough cash. Looks like Dazon has many parts that are stronger. A few buck more but better then getting stranded out hunting!

Hey this is Brian owner of above said Twister Hammerhead. I know it probably does not sound good now but I am trying to sell that kart for cheap. I figure somone might want it for thier little kids or something or to use on a project. It is almost brand new but I am willing to take a loss so I can get into a better performing kart like the Dazon. If you are interesed post here and I will get back to you.

My twister hammerhead sputters at high speed and backfires when I let off the gas. Any Ideas? Also my A arm looks a little bent.

Brian,

How much? Do you think a 250 ATC motor will fit in it and will the chassi support that weight? I really want a kart but don't quite have enough for a new Dazon. I do have a 250 ATC engine sitting in the garage from when my bike fell off the trailer.

Check your exhaust gasket, it could be leaking, also your intake may have a leak, either of which could cause what you describe. Do a search on google for twister hammerhead to find other forums for help.

Haven't sold it yet. My 150 has a broken strut and can't get one!!! The 250 has been a lifesaver for my kids. Once the 150 is running again, I will probably be willing to sell it. Asking $2500 if you pick it up. Thats a Great deal!! Paid about $3900, and it's still like new.
